Being good at (achieving a level of expertise) and therefore excited by, and comfortable at, helping execs grow as individuals and helping their companies be successful. I get execs and businesses reaching out and wanting to work with me.
My three children’s businesses and careers are successful and fulfilling for them.
My work provides me with a ’decent’ income for the next ten years or more.
What’s Driving Me/Behind My Purpose:
A Passion For More - I sense that I have not done as well as my life chances have given me. I feel uncomfortable that my two children are struggling with money and aren’t enjoying the standard of living that I have enjoyed. Although I am comfortable in my skin, I am restless to do more.
What’s Stopping Me:
Focus And Prioritisation - Not sufficient focus. Too many hares running. I lack focus in my mind as to the ‘it is’ I want to do. How much time do I want to spend on it? I need the right sort of people and their expertise to learn and grow from.
Why Am I Bothering With These Questions:
Discipline And Structure - It’s a valuable exercise to help me understand how I will spend the next stage of my life. It’s professionally a blank sheet of paper. How did I fill it?
AM I PREPARED TO DO THE HARD WORK:
Yes - I’m prepared to invest time and money to learn. I’ve done that already with coaching. This is an investment that will pay out over ten years plus. The journey itself will be fascinating. I love learning. Only time will tell how much time I want to spend doing this. I don’t want to be prescriptive and say, e.g. 2-3 days a week, If I enjoy it and get good at it, I would probably want to do more of it. However, I don’t have to make much money now to survive. Those days are behind me.

The Spirit To Leave A Real (Deserved) Legacy - It’s the Maslow pyramid. Self-actualisation. Self-fulfilment. I’ve still got years left to make my mark. I want to use my real personality, skills, and talents to their full outside a constrained environment of a company. On my death bed - ’I didn’t waste what I had…I gave it my best shots, helped many people along the way, and let my free spirit fly again.

Realising And Accelerating Value - My experience and my engagement style help individual leaders realise their individual value and the value that has leaked or been missed across the entire system. I get right in there - I compress time to value - I know where to look and what questions to ask and realise what answers were missed. I bridge the gaps between roles and functions and what’s needed and what works.
